Abstract
Starting from Jacques Derrida's reflections on animality we try to think the inscription of the biopolitical thresholds that distinguish animal and human in two fictions: El beso de la mujer araña by Manuel Puig and Perros Héroes by Mario Bellatin. These limits between human and animal produce zones of indistinction where to read these literary proposals.
